This is a developing incident. Medford Alert will continue to monitor and update as new information becomes available.
Earlier this evening, multiple Medford Police units were dispatched to the 1500 block of Angel Crest Dr in the East Hills for a reported armed subject.
Upon arrival, police entered into a standoff with the individual. The subject was believed armed with a riffle.
During the course of this incident, there is unconfirmed information that the individual suffered a serious gunshot wound. No officers were injured in this incident.
Medford Alert is working to gather additional information, but at this time there is no community threat. Medford Fire and Mercy Flights also had personnel on scene.
