UPDATE: Traffic backups have cleared.
The southbound lanes of Interstate 5 are closed four miles south of Medford due to a crash involving several vehicles.
A second incident with a vehicle fire has closed the southbound lanes just south of the Exit 24 interchange.
Avoid the area, use alternate routes.
