For The Valley: Local Firefighters Go Above and Beyond After Call

There is so much good that happens in our Valley everyday that goes unnoticed. We here at Medford Alert want to highlight as much of it as we can. In our For The Valley series, we will occasionally post a quick-read article of people doing good deeds in or area.

Last week Jackson County Fire District 3 (JCFD3) “C” Shift responded to a fire in Eagle Point. When they were searching the complex to make sure all the civilians were out, one of the crew members noticed this family did not have a proper bed. They took it upon themselves to work with Battalion Chief Jason Allen to get a bed donated and delivered to her.

“At Fire District 3, we are proud to have team members who go above and beyond the call of duty and to serve a community that comes together to accomplish such a selfless act” remarked JCFD3 officials.

Seeing others in need, and helping them out are what this community is all about. We here at Medford Alert commend the firefighters, crews and all others involved in their efforts to go above and beyond in helping others here in the Rogue Valley
