Southwest Oregon drivers should expect winter driving conditions, at least through late afternoon.
Heavy, wet snow is currently falling on the higher summits including Interstate 5, Sexton Summit and Canyon Mountain, as well as US199 Hayes Hill/OR-Cal border and OR42 Camas Mountain.
ODOT says that drivers should be aware of changing road conditions. Use extra precautions while traveling, including increasing following distance.
