Pacific Power is currently aware of a number of power outages in both Jackson and Josephine Counties. As of 10:30a, there are approximately 13,000 customers without service.

Across the state, Pacific Power is scrambling to restore power to more than 40,000 affected customers that are without power this morning.
Pacific Power reports they have numerous crews on scene working on the outage. The cause of most of the outages are weather related, as high winds have caused a number of issues locally and across the state.
Restoration of power varies greatly depending on the outage area. Rogue River, which has over 1000 customers without power, may not be restored until 9a on 12/28.
Medford Alert will continue to monitor these outages and provide updates as they become available.
