Pacific Power is currently aware of a power outage in the central eastside of Medford. As of 4:13p, there are approximately 1566 customers without service.
Pacific Power reports they have crews on scene working on the outage. There is no current cause of the outage as Pacific Power is still investigating. There is no estimated time for service recovery at this time.
We have received several reports of heavy congestion along the Crater Lake Ave and E.Jackson Street corridors. There are several major intersections that the traffic lights are not functioning, that are causing delays.
Medford Alert will continue to monitor this outage and provide updates as they become available.
