Firefighters Tackle Two-Alarm Fire in NW Medford

At approximately 7:48a this morning, Medford Fire Department (MFD), Jackson County District 3 (JCFD3), Jacksonville Fire (JFD), Medford Police (MPD), and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) units were dispatched to a structure fire call in NW Medford. The building is located on the corner of OR238 and Stowe Lane. It houses Grow Rogue Gardens.

Upon arrival, MFD units reported heavy smoke coming from the building. Due to the size of the structure, a second alarm was called in and addition fire units from JCFD3 and JFD arrived to assist.

Eleven various fire units in total were on scene fighting the blaze. Eastbound traffic on OR238 was briefly impacted. There were also lane closures on Stowe as crew mopped up the fire and investigate its origin.

Law enforcement was on scene to manage traffic in the area as firefighters worked to contain the blaze.

At this time, MFD remarked there are no injuries of any kind from this fire. A Fire Marshall remains on scene to assist in investigation of the fire.
