The Medford Police Department recently received a $60,000 donation from the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation Hope Action Plan. The donation will assist their task force that works on child exploitation and human trafficking cases.
The foundation collaborates with law enforcement and other partners to activate a comprehensive action plan for prevention and rescue and restore hope to those who have been impacted.
The donation MPD received will help provide a clean, safe environment for detectives as well as increase efficiency at the scene. It also helps provide privacy at the scene of a search warrant.
Overall, officials say this donation will help MPD better protect children and serve our community.
