Authorities say a fire damaged a double-wide mobile home inside the Roguelea Estates Senior Park early this morning in Grants Pass.
Firefighters from Rural Metro Fire – Josephine County and Grants Pass Fire Rescue converged on the scene and got a quick knock down of flames, preventing spread to any of the adjacent homes nearby.
3 occupants inside were able to exit safely, but a dog did not survive. One occupant was transported to Three Rivers by AMR-Josephine County for an evaluation.
Officials report the cause of the fire remains under investigation with assistance from the Oregon Office of State Fire Marshal.
