At approximately 1:30p today, multiple agencies responded to a multi-vehicle crash on the 1200 block of North Riverside Ave.
The crash involved a pickup truck and sedan. The truck had crashed into, and sheared off, a power pole on the west side of the street near Cobblestone Village.
Over 700 customers were without power for about an hour in the Northgate and Rogue Valley Mall area. Power has been restored to most of the affected customers. Pacific Power estimates full restoration by 5p tonight.
As of 2:30p, all three northbound lanes on Riverside were closed to allow crews to remove the vehicles and power to fix the damage. Expect continued delays into the evening with partial lane closures. Many intersection in the area are still out.
At this time, the extent of any potential injuries by the involved parties are unknown.
5:40p UPDATE: All lanes are open and affected intersection lights have been restored.
