Northwest Incident Management Team 13 has recommended that Josephine County Sheriff’s Office issue a Level 3 evacuation order for the area between Rand and Galice, and a level 2 evacuation order for Galice to Bear Camp Road.
Additional evacuation decisions will be made in coordination with Josephine County Emergency Management.
The Rum Creek Fire is now on the east side of the Rogue River, moving south and east. Officials are assessing current and potential future impacts to private lands and residences east of the river, and future evacuation notifications may be recommended.
