Tonight, officials stated that containment on the McKinney Fire has reached 60%.

Conditions were sunny, hot, and dry over the incident on Tuesday. Mostly clear conditions are expected tonight with moderate humidity recoveries across the lower elevations but poor to moderate recoveries across the highest ridgetops. Mainly slope-driven winds across the low elevations.
The fire remains at 60,389 acres. 5 helicopters, 223 engines, 63 dozers, 51 water tenders, 84 crews, and 3144 personnel are working the incident.
As of tonight, 11 structure have been damaged, 185 structures have been destroyed, there have been 7 injuries, and 4 confirmed fatalities.
A shelter has been established at the Weed Community Center, 161 E Lincoln Avenue, Weed, CA 96094.
