Multiple fire agencies are currently working a structure fire near the intersection of N.Foothill Rd and Corey Rd.
An approximately 5 acre grass fire has started as a result. Currently this incident is a two-alarm fire callout.

There are a number of evacuation orders mostly east of Foothills. This also includes the Jackson County Sports Park. There are many road closures in the area, avoid if possible.

5:55P Level 1 BE READY to Evacuate notice from Jackson County: Due to fire conditions, the following area is at Level 1: East Antelope Rd.
6:12p Fire Level 2: BE SET to evacuate from Jackson County Sheriff’s Office for South of OR-140 to Dry Creek Rd. East of McLoughlin Dr. to Kersh
6:20p Delta Waters and Foothills is closed to all traffic.

6:25p UPDATE: Forward progress of the fire has been stopped and crews have caught it at an estimated 5 acres. Multiple spot fires and windy conditions challenged resources.
Firefighters will remain on scene mopping up and continuing to ensure new spot fires don’t emerge.
The area will be blocked off until emergency crews are able to leave. Avoid the area.
6:30p RV1 Structure Strike Team has now been activated. Will meet up at next to White City Starbucks.
6:40p RVTD says due to the wildfire east of Hwy 62 in the White City area, the Route 60 will NOT go east of 62 into the neighborhoods on Division, Ave G, Atlantic and Antelope. Approx 7 intersections are closed around the fire are still blocked off. All outer area closures have been lifted.
7:40p UPDATE: Rogue Valley Structural Task Force 1 was activated earlier and has arrived on scene to assist. Currently, there have been two confirmed structures lost. No reported injuries at this time. Many of those who previously evacuated are returning. Currently the fire is contained.
8:50p UPDATE: Due to improved fire conditions, the following area is now at Level 1: South of OR-140 to Dry Creek Rd. East of McLoughlin Dr. to Kershaw Rd. All residents who evacuated are now able to return home. Please note that there are still emergency vehicles in the area. Please follow all posted traffic signs and drive slowly and carefully as you return. There may still be road blocks in the area for first responder and resident safety.
7/30 UPDATE: Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has Cancelled the wildfire Level 1 evacuation notice for the area of: South of OR-140 to Dry Creek Rd. East of McLoughlin Dr. to Kershaw Rd.
