Earlier today, Jackson County Fire District 3 (JCFD3) and ODF Southwest Oregon District stopped a grass fire at 1/10 of an acre near the corner of Catalpa Ave and Beagle Rd in White City.
Officials said this call came in at 1:00 p.m. Fire District 3 had Heavy Brush 21 and Engine 23 on scene, ODF 235 was also on scene.
The cause of this fire is under investigation. JCFD3 authorities ask the public to continue to use caution as the hot temperatures in the area persist and
fuels are ready to burn.
