Trained ODF personnel are closely monitoring the thunderstorms moving up through the valley near Ashland this afternoon.
So far, fire agencies have responded to two potential lightning caused fires, one near Pilot Rock and another near Dead Indian Memorial Road.
The ODF Detection Center will continue to monitor the areas affected for new fire starts throughout the evening.
