The Jackson County Airport Authority will conduct a simulated airplane incident at the Medford Airport on May 18th.
Authorities stage this in-depth training exercise every three years. In previous drills, there was smoke visible from around the immediate area. Officials want the public to know it is just a drill.
Dozens of local volunteers will be involved in a number of roles, including as injured passengers.
