Police Warn that Wanted Yreka Shooting Suspect Frequents the Medford Area

3/29/22 UPDATE: The suspect has been located according to police.

On March 25th, a Yreka Police officer came upon a vehicle that appeared to have crashed into a tree. When contacted, the driver advised he had been shot.

The Officer rendered care until medical personnel arrived on scene. The driver of the car was transported to a nearby Medical Center.

The 34-year-old victim remains in stable condition. Yreka Police have identified the suspect in the shooting as TREVOR WAYNE PATTON.

Trevor Patton was last seen driving a blue Rav4 with Oregon plates and a roof box. Patton is considered armed and dangerous, and police ask that you not approach or contact him.

Patton is still outstanding and anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to call Yreka Police Dept at (530)841-2300. Refer to YPD Case 22Y-00488

Medford Police stated Trevor Patton frequents the Medford area, and they “have had a lot
of contact with him over the years”. They go on to ask the public to keep an eye out for him.
