3/9/22 Metro COVID Vaccination Update

Here are the latest vaccination figures and data from the Oregon Health Association, for the Medford Metro (Jackson County).

Currently, our area is exactly in the middle of all Oregon counties in vaccinations, coming in at #18 out of 36 total counties.

135,559 total people have had at least one COVID vaccination dose. This is out of the total overall metro population of 223,240 people. 10,814 series are currently in progress (one dose).

124,745 series are complete (fully vaccinated). That is a weekly increase of .01%.

There have been 315,793 total doses administered in the metro.

178,312 Pfizer doses have been given.

124,144 Moderna doses have been given.

12,069 Johnson & Johnson doses have been given.

While 1,268 dose are classified as unspecified.

For the OHA “Eligible Population” (18+ years). The metro is currently at a 69.1% vaccination rate.

124,103 individuals, out of the “eligible population” of 179,522 have had at least one dose.

19,776 people remain needed to get at least one dose in order to hit the states goal of 80% of “eligible population” being vaccinated.
