Bringing Broadband Internet to All County Residents

Survey Closes February 18, 2022.

The Jackson County Commissioners want all residents to have access to affordable, high-speed internet at home.

High-speed internet (up to 100 MBPS, aka broadband) supports access to County services, healthcare, education, and jobs. You can help bring more faster, more affordable internet options to underserved areas of our County by taking this short survey:

Why a survey? Jackson County officials are surveying residents to understand where better internet service options are needed. In some rural areas of the county, broadband internet options simply aren’t available at any cost. Even in urban areas, some residents may not have high-speed options they can afford. The survey asks questions about what kind of internet access you have at home (if any), how fast it is, and whether it is affordable and reliable. Using this information, officials can attract federal investment to Jackson County, promote competition, and help expand broadband facilities to reach more local residents.

The survey takes only a few minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous and confidential.
