Winter Weather Advisory Active Monday

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM TO 11 PM MONDAY

Snow is expected. Total snow accumulations 3 to 6 inches in affected areas.

Winds gusting as high as 35 mph in exposed areas.

WHERE: Southern Oregon Cascades above 5000 feet including portions of Highways 138, 62, 230, and 140 near Diamond Lake, Crater Lake, and Lake of the Woods.

WHEN: From 3 PM to 11 PM Monday.

IMPACTS: Roads may become snow covered and slippery.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: A brief period of one inch per hour snowfall rates is possible between 4 PM and 8 PM.

Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination due to limited visibilities.

Carry tire chains and be prepared for snow covered roads and highways.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties.
