Late Saturday night, Medford Police responded to a residence near the 1800 block of Roberts Rd in east Medford. Police were attempting to serve a search warrant that was related to an ongoing burglary investigation.
We can confirm that this incident, and overall investigation, was not related to an earlier attempted burglary of a former Medford area hemp farm.
Just past 1am on Sunday morning, police had completed clearing the house with the assistance of Medford Fire Department FLIR equipment. There were no injuries reported, and there is no current community risk.
“Four suspects were arrested on warrants and a total of nine subjects were detained during the search warrant. SWAT did assist. No force was used during the incident,” According to Medford Police Lieutenant Mike Budreau.
