Major Expansion Planned for Northgate Office Park

Northgate Center, LLC is proposing to develop the remaining 10.6 acres of the land designated as the Office Park of Northgate Centre.

This second phase will be comprised of buildings to house hotels, restaurants, office, car wash, medical and service commercial uses distributed over six lots which will be developed independently of each other.

The architectural design of the Office Park is intended to include a mix of masonry, stucco, board and batten, transparent wall sections and faux wood siding elements combined into a contemporary design that will compliment Phase I of the Northgate Office Park. The developers State that overall, this creates a modern design with allusions that honor the former use of this site as a sawmill facility.

Landscaped areas have been created through the parking areas, rights of way, and between each building, which landscaped areas will also provide for site lighting features. Asphalt and concrete are the proposed materials for the impervious surfaces, with colored concrete to provide contrast to the pedestrian features. As an additional improvement to the site, an extensive sidewalk has been planned along the internal circulation road linking the access points along the major roadways, intended to promote safe and easy access by pedestrians and bicyclists to then center in its entirety. Furthermore, developers are proposing a bus stop within the project to be serviced by Rogue Valley Transit.

This will be directly west of the current phase which houses Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Jamba Juice, Five Guys, along with several other retailers.

Construction may begin as early as summer, depending on lot leasing and city project reviews.
