Providence has submitted a pre-application to discuss a proposal for a four-story, 96 dwelling unit apartment building. The structure would be approximately 91,000 sq ft in size. It is estimated the building will top out at 45 ft.

The projects overall footprint would be totaling approximately 2.17 acres. The parcels are located north of Spring Street, between the Spring Street and existing hospital campus.
The Spring Street Housing project is a workforce housing development that will offer 96 apartments in a four-story building. There will be 16 studios, 41 one-bedroom, 33 two-bedroom and 6 three-bedroom apartments.
Interior common spaces will provide a large community room for residents to use, fitness room, property management offices for onsite management services, and a daycare to be run by a third-party partner.

The need for housing has never seemed greater in our metro area. This project would be conveniently located near major employers and large shopping districts.
If this project is approved, expect a mid-2022 construction start date. Subject to change.
