The Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) team has been activated and is investigating a fatal rollover motor vehicle crash in the 8000 block of Butte Falls Highway that occurred around 8:30 this morning.
The Highway is closed at Crowfoot Rd. while the investigation continues and is expected to be closed for about 3-4 hours.
The STAR team is made up of investigators from JCSO, Medford Police Department, and Ashland Police Department.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing. Earlier reports stated icy conditions may have played a role in this accident.
