Multiple Agencies Looking for Missing Plane Out of Ashland

A small personal plane took off from the Ashland Airport on Wednesday on its way to Orland California, but never arrived according to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office.

The plane is described as a black Cessna 150 that is piloted by California resident William Bushling.

The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office, along with Siskiyou and Trinity County officials, are investigating reports of the overdue aircraft.

The plane was possibly last known to be in the area of Southern Siskiyou County or Northern Shasta County.

Search and Rescue personnel from both Shasta and Siskiyou County are working together with resources to locate the possible missing aircraft and pilot.

If anyone remembers hearing or seeing a low flying plane Wednesday between 10 AM and 4 PM contact 245-6540 with that information.

These are all the details available at this time. More information will be released as it becomes known.
