Yesterday, a small wildfire on Livingston Way in Hugo ignited. It has been contained at 1/10th acre by Rural Metro Fire and ODF Southwest Oregon District.
Firefighters are continuing to mop up this grassfire; GPS mapping has determined it was caught at 1/10th of an acre.
This is a good reminder that despite recent cold weather, fires still have the potential to spread in dry fuels with the right conditions present.
Please be aware of current regulations still effect in low fire danger.
The cause of this fire is under investigation.
