JCSO is working with local agencies and courts on a solution to help minimize the burden to the local criminal justice system that is created when defendants repeatedly fail to appear in court. Sheriff Sickler has allocated jail beds for the program to keep repeat FTA offenders in custody, preventing additional offenses and ensuring their cases have the opportunity to be resolved.
