Public Input Invited on Judicial Vacancies

Salem, OR—Governor Kate Brown today announced the candidates who have applied for one or more of the previously announced judicial vacancies on the  Oregon Supreme Court and the Oregon Court of Appeals . The Governor’s Office provided an update on the appointment process, and invited public comment on the applicants.

• Robert A. Koch
• Julia E. Markley
• Aruna A. Masih
• Jennifer J. Middleton
• Darleen R. Ortega

Given the significant overlap in individuals applying for both the Oregon Supreme Court and Oregon Court of Appeals, the Governor’s Office will consolidate its appointment process for the pending appellate court vacancies, and will consider all of the candidates at once, for all available appellate court positions.
