At approximately 1:11p today, 911 dispatchers received calls regarding a potentially serious vehicle crash near Eagle Point.
The crash took place near the intersection of Agate Rd and Lexington Dr.
Jackson County Fire District 3 (JCFD3), Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), and Mercy Flights ambulance (MFI) were sent to the scene.
At this time, firefighters had to extract one person from a vehicle, they were last believed to be in critically condition. The multi-agency Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Team has been activated for this incident as well.
Jackson County Roads (JCR) have Agate Rd closed in the area at this time. Authorities mentioned the public should expect a potential lengthy closure.
