Northbound Interstate 5 is currently closed at milepoint 12 due to a fully engulfed truck fire.
Crews are detouring traffic from Exit 11 to Exit 14. Drivers should use caution and expect congestion on the detour route through south Ashland.
The closure may be lengthy as the fire is contained and debris is removed.
Update: ODOT has opened one northbound lane up and the fire has been extinguished. Authorities say the semi trailer was hauling pineapples.
