At approximately 9:59a this morning, 911 Emergency Communication of Southern Oregon (ECSO) dispatchers received several calls regarding a possible structure fire on Bowmont Circle.
One caller told ECSO operators that they saw heavy smoke coming from roof of the single story home.
Medford Fire (MFD), Jackson County Fire District 5 (JCFD5), and Medford Police (MPD) all responded to the scene to assist.
Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed an active structure fire. Incoming fire units continued Code 3 to the scene.
The fire was contained and extinguished in approximately 15 minutes. Several fire units remained on scene to handle mop up and ensure the safety of the structure. A Medford Fire Investigator was also dispatched to the incident to assist.
There was no major traffic impacts in the area, and there were no reported injuries.
