A second metro area power outage is affecting just under 400 customers in the Central Point area.
Pacific Power crews are enroute and assessing the situation. The current estimation to restore service is by 8:30a. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
8:30p UPDATE: Crews have arrived on scene. The cause is currently being listed as “damaged equipment.” Pacific Power still estimates restoration of service by 8:30a.
FINAL UPDATE: Power has been restored to affected customers.
