According to Cal Fire, the fire is now 75% contained this evening.
The “Scarface Incident” was reported earlier today in Siskiyou County. The remote nature of the fire made it difficult to access. The Siskiyou County Sheriffs Office said no structures are threatened and there are no evacuations in place.
The 5.5 acre fire is reported to be burning mainly in brush and grass. Crews are working to continue to line the fire this evening.
At this time, there is no cause of the fire as the investigation is ongoing.
