The Medford Fire Department along with Fire District 3 responded to a structure fire at 1102 N.Riverside shortly after 4:39p today. The fire was located in a commercial occupancy at the Relax Inn. The incident was upgraded to a second alarm bringing in additional resources. All occupants self evacuated prior to arrival and there are no reported injuries. Officials provided no further details at this time.

Just after 6p, two lanes of N.Riverside were still closed due to remaining fire personnel working overhaul on the building. As of 8p, all lanes have reopened.
There were a number of guests impacted by the fire.
