Another market-rate, multi-family housing development is planned for the growing northeast side of Medford.
The development is proposed to consist of ten buildings (nine apartment buildings, and one recreation building) with a total of 105 proposed dwelling units. Mostly three-story, walk up buildings.
The Montagne Development plans take up a single, vacant parcel totaling approximately 6.65 acres. The parcel is located along Springbrook Road, and is north of Sharman Way, south of Dragon Tail Place, and is within the MFR-15 (Multiple-Family Residential, 10 to 15 dwelling units per gross acre) zoning district. The property is part of the Springbrook Park Planned Unit Development. The site currently is granted 95 dwellings, however, developers will look to the city for permission to allow the 105 units they are designing.
If approved, the site is described as “shovel ready” and construction could begin as early as this spring.
