This is a update to our earlier story regarding this suspect escaping capture, earlier this month.
Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) is actively searching for Anthony Minneci, 33, considered armed and dangerous.
He was last seen today wearing a green “bomber” style jacket in the area of Cantrall Buckley park near Jacksonville.
If you see him, do not approach or attempt to apprehend, instead call dispatch at (541) 776-7206.
Last night, Minneci allegedly stole a vehicle and was involved in another elude with Medford Police. He ultimately crashed near Cantrall Buckley park, fled on foot and was not located.
JCSO Patrol is searching with K9 units and the Search and Rescue Drone Team but have so far been unsuccessful.
Authorities do not believe he is a threat to the general public at this time, but if you live in the area make sure to be cautious and keep houses, out buildings, and vehicles LOCKED.
