Current Situation:

The fire is currently burning with moderate to low intensity in timber and ground fuels. Fire resources are making every effort to minimize impacts to residences, critical infrastructure, and areas of cultural significance. Firefighters are currently adding depth to containment lines and assessing hazards as well as mopping up around structures. Tonight there will be a south/west wind that will push the fire in a north/east direction. Temperatures will continue to decrease to the low 70s by Tuesday. CAL FIRE Damage Inspection Teams (DINS) will continue to assess the affected areas. Residents within evacuation warnings should be prepared to leave if fire activity increases.

    Creek east from Bear Mountain Road
  • (SCU-E193-D) All areas east of Fawndale Rd. along Radcliff Rd. west of the burn area
  • (SCU-E500-B) Jones Valley Subdivision, east of Bear Mountain Rd./Dry Creek Road,
    north to Mirror Valley, south of Shasta Lake, and west of the east end of Elk Trail East.
  • (SCU-E197-B) West of Dry Creek Road and south of Bear Mountain Road.
  • (SCU-E192-C) All areas east of Old Oregon Trail, north and west of Bear Mountain
    Road between Kitty Hawk and Moss Drive
  • (SCU-E192-B) All areas south of Bear Mtn. Road east of Creek Trail, north of Squaw
    Grass Trail.
  • (SCU-E189-C) All areas east of Holiday Road north of Union School Road south/west of
