Current Situation:

Full suppression strategy continues for the Fawn Fire through a combination of direct and indirect tactics. Current winds continue to diminish as high pressure settles over the weekend. Winds will be south/southwest with gusts up to 15 MPH today. Rain is predicted starting late Monday through Tuesday afternoon.

Based on an informal “windshield survey” fire crews have identified approximately 100 structures that have been damaged or destroyed. CAL FIRE Damage inspection teams will begin a detailed official damage assessment today. Residents within evacuation warnings should be prepared to leave if fire activity increases.
